Policies:
Payments
- Deposit must be paid on the day of booking to secure session. Deposit is NOT refundable.
- Service fee must be paid at the end of the session, as the amount is determined by the time of the shoot [ Minus the Deposit]. This can be paid via bank transfer or exact cash.
- During the shoot, the service fee will be calculated to the next half an hour.
- Payment for the photos + and potential editing/ delivery must be received BEFORE I send final photographs to you.
- If you damage any of my equipment during the shoot, you will be expected to pay full price of that piece of equipment.
- At any point of the payment process, you can use either bank transfer or exact cash, as I will not have any change.
Cancellations or Date changes
- If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled session, a fee of £15 [ additional to the £10 deposit ] will be incurred.
- If you cancel outside of the 24-hour window, you will not be charged an extra fee. However, your deposit will not be refunded.
- If you request a date change before the 48-hour window, your deposit will still count towards the rescheduled session.
Booking the Photo shoot:
When booking the session, I will need to know the following information;
- How many people will be attending the session and their ages
- The type of shoot wanted; [ headshots, family pictures, product pictures, baby pictures, character work etc ].
- If there is a theme [ Christmas, Babies first…., halloween etc ] - If it will require props, and if you will be providing them or if I am [ if I am providing them, there may be an extra cost ]
- If anybody involved has any health or sensory issues involving lights, any mobility issues that will require me to re-evaluate the space to make it more accessible, or any other medical issues you feel that I should know about.
My Use of the Photos
As my business is primarily on social media, I will ask for your written consent on the day of the shoot if I can or cannot post your photos on my instagram and facebook. However, when booking the shoot I will touch upon this so I know where you stand prior to the day.
Day of the Photoshoot
- Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the session as it can be difficult to find places to park down my road
- If you are going to be late, please let me know as it may disrupt sessions following yours. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the session will be cancelled.
- Please ensure that if you plan on wearing shoes in the photos, that they are clean and not worn on the way to the session, to stop dirt getting onto the backdrops.
- As the service fee is priced according to the time of the session, charging will start when everyone is settled and ready to take the first photo.
After the Photoshoot
- It will take me between 3 and 10 days to go through and sort all of the photos, touch them up etc.
- I will then send you a Google Docs document with all of the photos [ with watermarks ] for you to look through. From there, we can discuss if you want any of them specially edited.
- If you do want any special editing, it could take me between 1-3 additional days to make the changes.
- Once this has been done, we can discuss how you want the final photos; digital, printed, size, amount of photos etc.
